SIX NEWLY ADOPTED- The McCabe family, who are part of the Queen of Peace Parish in Hawley, have three children born to them. Peter and Thersa McCabe adopted two more, and this past August 28, six more children- all siblings- were added to the McCabe fold. On October 27, 2012 Deacon Matt Lorent baptized Nicole, Joseph, Timothy, Zachary, Alicia and Natalie. Their other children are Alyssa, Owen, Thomas, Michael and Matthew. Deacon Lorent is shown in back, between Mrs. McCabe at far left and Mr. McCabe. The children were blessed twice- to be adopted both by the McCabes, and to be baptized into the family of God, said Doreen Tascone, Faith Formation Program Director at the Parish.
