    • To recognize the Delaware Valley achievements over the past few years, the current DV School Board has agreed to place recognition banners at each of the main entrances of each school building to remind people of the significance of the school districts successes as well as a thank you to the students, staff and parents for their hard work. Jim Mooney, a former Delaware Valley School Board member presented the recognition idea to the current school board members in July.

    • On Friday, May 11th a representative of each homeroom competed in the Dingman Delaware Elementary School (DDES) Oral Reading Contest. Each participant had to first compete and win in his/her homeroom.  Everyone who participated did an outstanding job, and the judges had a difficult task in choosing just one winner for each grade level.  5th grade winners: Back - Anya Yoncak, Katie O
