R. Anthony Waldron III, has been honored by the Hawley Public Library for his six years of dedicated service as President of the Library’s Board of Directors.


R. Anthony Waldron III, has been honored by the Hawley Public Library for his six years of dedicated service as President of the Library’s Board of Directors.

Waldron, who stepped down as Board president in September of this year, has also been a Library director for more than a decade and will continue on the Board.

In presenting Waldron with a plaque recognizing his work on the Library’s behalf, current Board president Mary Anne Teeter praised him for his remarkable success and many accomplishments as president in addition to thanking him for his long time volunteer commitment to the Library and its mission to serve the community.

The presentation took place at the Library’s annual Volunteer Luncheon held November 16 at the Settlers Inn in Hawley.
