The Bucks’ Tennis Team played another match inside the confines of Cove Have on Monday and defeated the visiting Trojans of North Pocono 4-1. On Wednesday they fell to Dunmore 4-1 to extend their record on the season to 7-5.


The Bucks’ Tennis Team played another match inside the confines of Cove Have on Monday and defeated the visiting Trojans of North Pocono 4-1. On Wednesday they fell to Dunmore 4-1 to extend their record on the season to 7-5.

Mike Ferrante and Joe Mastroianni both won their singles matches in convincing fashion with Ferrante taking down Steven Garubba 6-1, 6-2 and Mastroianni beating Brandon Massey 6-0, 6-2.

The Bucks’ number three at singles, Rob Miesell fell to Bryan Bogart 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 6-3.

In doubles the Purple Pack earned two points with Matt Wildenburg and Matt McCullough defeating David Tassey and Matt Podaro 6-1, 6-3.

Chris Cassel and Tyler Whitman were victorious over Arkadiusz Zwiercan and Michael Raven 6-2, 6-1.

On Wednesday the Bucks of Dunmore took all three singles matches on the day and one doubles match to win 4-1.

Matt Wildenburg and Pat Woods earned the only point for ‘Paupack with a 6-7, 6-4, 7-5 victory over Andrew Scotchlas and John Azzarelli.
