Safe Haven of Pike County has had an amazing month painting Pike County purple in an effort to promote domestic peace in our community.

On Oct. 29 between the hours of 3 pm and 7 pm, Safe Haven will be hosting their third annual “Day of Dignity” Open House. Residents of Pike County are invited to join Safe Haven as they continue to promote the restoration of individual dignity for all individuals. Safe Haven provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. All of their services are free of charge and completely confidential.

The community’s support this month will translate into continued services for many victims throughout the year. Each guest is asked to bring one non-perishable food item which will be donated to the local food pantry.

Refreshments will be served and guests will enjoy the traditional complimentary thank you raffle. “Safe Haven looks forward to seeing everyone as they conclude their month long campaign for domestic peace,” organizers said.
