The Lutheran Evangelical Protestant Church (LEPC) announces Credential Approval of Reverend Nathan Gilpin.
After an extensive process of discernment and consideration The Board of Advisors and Executive Board of the LEPC have validated the call of Reverend Gilpin to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament. Notification has been made by a Letter of Acceptance and Call.
Reverend Gilpin is married to Ruth Ann and they will celebrate their 50th anniversary next month. They have two children; a daughter Linda Snyder and son Nathan Gilpin, Jr. Reverend Gilpin is the son of Almeda Gilpin who resides in Newfoundland and the late Leonard W. Gilpin.
Reverend Gilpin will be ordained into the Gospel ministry and into valid historic Apostolic Succession in an Ordination and Consecration Service with laying on of hands for ministry March 21, at Newfoundland Moravian Church in Newfoundland. The Rt. Rev. Dr. Robert Tutrone, Bishop of the LEPC Pennsylvania Synod will be officiating and the Pastor of Newfoundland Moravian Church, Rev. Gregg Schafer, will be assisting.
Reverend Gilpin’s ministry is called Chapel in the Hills located at 912 Maple Acre Rd Sterling PA 18463.
