Activities and promotions are planned throughout the year with an emphasis on national, local and bank milestones that have been accomplished throughout this time. A special 175th Anniversary Logo was created by bank employee Amy Goff and is depicted on the Ice Sculptures that were delivered to each HNB Branch Office on January 3rd. The renderings were created by Sculptured Ice Works of Lakeville to help kick off the year-long celebration. The bank’s 2011 calendar has 13 Pictures of HNB throughout the years along with historic dates in HNB history.
January 2011 will feature the HNB 175th Anniversary Snowball Contest, in conjunction with four area radio stations. 175 lucky qualifiers who gather at HNB’s Route 6 Plaza Office on January 29th will each win the prize listed in a special snowball. There is no purchase necessary to enter and every qualifier will win a prize. Details are available on the HNB’s Website – www.hnbbank.com.
During January, the bank will sponsor and assist with the promotion of the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s 70th Annual Mistletoe Ball and the Delaware Valley Eagle Alliance’s 10th Annual EagleFest on the 15th and the Carbondale Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner on the 27th.
The Honesdale National Bank is the area’s oldest independent community bank headquartered in Northeastern PA, with offices in Wayne, Pike, Susquehanna, Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties.
