The Wallenpaupack girls varsity basketball team traveled to West Scranton on Tuesday night, and fell to the host Invaders 53-34.

Alexix Roman paced the Lady with nine points.

Paige Hiller recorded eight points, Kaelyn Ragonese had seven, Nicki Mann collected five, and Rachel Ensslen chipped in four.

Nora Joyce had a game-high 19 points for West Scranton.

Delaware Valley traveled to Scranton Prep and fell to the host squad 48-19.

Katie Murphy paced the Lady Warriors with 10 points.

Lix Schultz had a game-high 11 points for Prep.

Girls Jr. High Action
The Wallenpaupack girls jr. high basketball ‘B’ team defeated Dingman-Delaware 44-3 on Jan. 25.

Alex Tobey paced the Lady Bucks with a game-high 10 points.

Monika Smallwood recorded eight points, Dana Hiller, Alyssa LaFave, and Molly Jansco all had six points apiece.

Sarah Witte and Sam Hopkins both had four points.

In the jr. high ‘A’ game the Lady Bucks fell to Ding-Del 35-26.

Lauren Goetz had a team-high 10 points for Paupack and was named their offensive player of the game.

Kennedy Thomas picked up six points, Stephanie Roa recorded four, and Alicia Brindle had two.

Girls Freshmen Basketball
On Jan. 24 the Lady Bucks freshmen basketball team took on Abington Heights and fell to the Lady Comets 52-34.

Bridgette Mann had a team-high 12 points, Raeann Ehrhardt collected seven, Tori Ciszak with six, Irene Dispenza had five, and Natalie Christopher chipped in two.

On Jan. 22 the girls played host to East Stroudsburg South and won 44-37.

Mann had a game-high 28 points. Ehrhardt recorded 14, Ciszak and Caitlin Gregory each chipped in five apiece.

Dispenza recorded four, and Christopher and Danielle Wontor each had two points.
