Ed Langendoerfer has announced his intention to run in the Republican primary for Wayne County Commissioner.

The Primary Election is on Tuesday, May 17.

A graduate of Honesdale High School, Ed served in the U.S. Military where he received multiple awards for achievements and leadership. Upon being honorably discharged from the military, Ed obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University.
He worked with Wayne Memorial Hospital where he was instrumental in starting the in-school walking program and the wellness program assisting people with challenging health conditions. Ed also served as a Honesdale Borough Council member where he was appointed to lead the Borough Council as President. Presently, Ed is the owner of a tree removal and excavating business.
Ed wants to insure that Wayne County maintains a fiscal discipline while encouraging growth through job creation and sound economic development. Ed pledges to be proactive in eliminating wasteful spending and will always strive for a more efficient government.
Ed and his wife, Teri, have been married for nineteen years and have three children.
They have dedicated themselves to their family, their church, and their community.
