In what promises to be a flat out legendary performance, both the groups Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Doobie Brothers are set to perform on Friday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts.
Tickets started to go on sale on Saturday, April 9 and range from $95.50 to $36.00 for premium seating and $21 for lawn seating.
Dealing with success, fame, fortune and tragedy, “Sweet Home Alabama”, “Simple Man” and “Free Bird” were single hit singles that Lynyrd Skynyrd performed. “Sweet Home Alabama” then became the title of a movie starring Academy Award Winner, Reese Witherspoon.
The Doobie Brothers also came on the scene in the early 1970s with hot selling albums and then returned once again in 2010 with World Gone Crazy, a new album.
More shows will be continued to be announced as the summer schedule is being filled. For just $369 lawn season passes are available with a free lawn chair thrown in.
