On Tuesday, April 26, and Tuesday, May 24, Sustainable Energy Education & Development Support (SEEDS) will be hosting "Choosing shades of GREEN in Construction and Renovation” at the Conservation District office, 648 Park Street, Honesdale from 7 to 9 p.m. both evenings.


On Tuesday, April 26, and Tuesday, May 24, Sustainable Energy Education & Development Support (SEEDS) will be hosting "Choosing shades of GREEN in Construction and Renovation” at the Conservation District office, 648 Park Street, Honesdale from 7 to 9 p.m. both evenings.
 Guest speakers include “Green” professionals that offer insight on lot development, site planning, green design, energy efficiency, selection of green products, and green certification tools.
Guest presenters on April 26th include Michelle Dempsey, AIA, LEED AP owner of DX Dempsey, and Buck Moorhead, AIA owner of Buck Moorhead Architect.  Guest presenters on May 24th include Lisa Alexander, LEED AP, Certified Ecobroker, Green Building Consultant and CEO/Founder of Live Better Live Green, Inc., and Nick Hindley owner of Environspec Ltd & Pa Home Energy Consultants.
SEEDS hopes that this opportunity will allow individuals to see how they can incorporate sustainable building practices into their renovation or new construction projects.  Subsequent “Green Building Tours” are planned for individuals to see sustainable, eco-friendly residential and commercial projects underway locally in Northeast PA.
These forums are open to all. Refreshments will be served, and free-will offerings will be accepted.
