Positive Parenting is a video and discussion-based parent education curriculum that focuses on alternatives to physical punishment in the discipline of children.
Positive Parenting was developed by family educators at Minnesota and Wisconsin Extension Service. Positive Parenting is appropriate for parents, parent educators, foster parents, social service agencies, and anyone who nurtures children.
This course is offered at Penn State Extension in Pike County, 514 Broad Street, Milford. The curriculum includes four weekly sessions, two hours each beginning Tuesday, November 29th. Registration fee is $5 per session, or you may register for all four for $20.
