The Pocono Lake Region Chamber of Commerce understands that quitting tobacco with support can increase the chance for success by 50 percent.
That is why they are hosting Penn State Extension's quit tobacco program beginning November 30.
All are welcome to register for this five session program, which meets each Wednesday, beginning November 30, from 3 to 4 p.m. You will make a quit plan, learn natural relaxation and gain long-term strategies to stay tobacco-free. Nicotine patches will be offered.
Sessions will be held at their offices in the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitor’s Center.
Thanks to a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there is no charge for this program.
