William S. Harriott, age 82, of Lakeville died Friday, November 25, at home. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Bess Holloway.


William S. Harriott, age 82, of Lakeville died Friday, November 25, at home. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Bess Holloway.
Born September 22, 1929, in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late William and Ethel (Taylor) Harriott. Formerly of Livingston and Haledon, NJ, he was a retired construction superintendent.
A Lakeville resident for 33 years, he was a member of Lakeville United Methodist Church where he was also former Chair of the Trustees and choir member, a member of Salem Lodge of F&AM and past Master of a NJ Lodge of F&AM. He also enjoyed golfing at many locations and was an excellent carpenter.
 In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Tara of Florida; three sons: Guy of Oakhurst, NJ, Jamie of Seminole, FL, and Ryan of Allentown, PA; a stepson: Charles Calicchio of Honesdale; one sister: Ethel Dooney of Ohio; one brother: Donald of Florida; five grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
 Calling hours will be Friday, Dec. 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Lakeville United Methodist Church, 431 Purdytown Turnpike, Lakeville. The Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Debra Dailey officiating. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
