  • Parenting is not easy, but with love, limits and lots of involvement, parents can be a major influence in developing happy, healthy and well-behaved children.
    To help parents do the best job possible, Penn State Extension in Pike County offers Positive Parenting, a video and discussion based parent education curriculum that focuses on alternatives to physical punishment in the discipline of children.
    Positive Parenting begins Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 6 to 8 p.m., and continues for four consecutive Tuesdays. Participants may register for one or all four classes. Registration fee is $5 per class. Registration deadline is February 1. Ask about incentives.
