Before the start of Paupack’s final regular season game of the 2012 campaign, the senior players were honored in front of family and friends.
Steve Camasta, Curtis Barnes, Cory Zielinski, Will McLaughlin, Chris Duff, Kyle Conklin, Kenny Ciszak, and Robert Cameron all took the traditional stroll through the gauntlet of underclassmen for one last time on the shores of the Big Lake while wearing the Paupack uniform.
On the Field
Abington Heights struck first, crossing the dish once in the opening frame, and came away with the 8-4 victory.
In the third, the Comets scored two more runs in the third, before the Bucks responded and crossed the twice in the bottom half of the inning.
Abington added four more runs in the fourth, and the Bucks did manage a run in each of the fifth and sixth innings, but came up four runs short in the final game of the Lackawanna League Division One race.
Paupack collected seven hits in the contest with James Goetz and Chris Duff each having two.
Ciszak, Camasta, and Cameron Wolfson each had one hit in the game.
