  • The Wallenpaupack Area Little League is in full swing, and the division races are starting to heat up.
    For the Majors, the Red Sox are leading the points race, racking up 17 so far with eight wins, three losses, and one tie. They have scored 82 runs, while allowing the opposition to cross the dish just 48 times.
    The Orioles are just one point back (as of Wednesday) with 16 (8-4). They have crossed home plate a total of 92 times, allowing 71 in the process.
    The Sports (7-2), and the Dodgers (7-4) each have 14 points.
    The Indians (4-6) have 10 points; the Phillies (4-7) have nine; the Zieglers (2-6) have five; and the Yankees have one, collecting a tie.
    Minors
    The Yankees are leading the division with a record of 6-2, and 12 points. They have scored 70 runs so far, and allowed 66.
    The Dodgers are just two points back with 10, and have a record of 5-1.
    McCollums (4-0) and the Nationals (4-3) each have eight points; the Phillies (3-3) and Indians (3-7) each have six; Remax (2-3) and Quik Mart (2-3) are tied with four points; and Aurels (1-3) and the Red Sox (1-6) both have three points.
    Majors — Softball
    The Racers are 10-0 with 20 points and lead the division. They have already racked up 108 runs, while allowing opponents to cross the dish just 35 times for an average of 3.5 a game.
    The Force, Riptide, Pride, Diamonds, and Bandits are all looking for that first win in divisional play.
    Rookies
    The Indians have 12 points, with a record of 6-2. They have scored 105 runs so far this season.
    The Pirates (5-1) have 10 points; the Phillies (2-0) and Four Star (2-1) have four; and the West Branch (1-0), Yankees (1-1), and Dodgers (1-5) all have two.
