Ladies' Golf Season Opener Results

The Ladies Golf League Association of Paupack Hills Golf & Country Club held their annual kick-off tournament and dinner on Wednesday, May 30.

The event, a shotgun scramble, was won by the foursome of Mary Cox, Maia Pennink, Gerry Durkin and Carol Sweetser. Marcia Stiles won closest to the pin on Hole #16.

Marcia Stiles, President of the Ladies Golf League Association at Paupack Hills, chaired the membership meeting that followed golf.

The officers of the association for 2012 are: Marcia Stiles, President; Gerry Durkin, Vice-President; Eileen Tyler, Treasurer; and Diane Rochelle, Secretary.

The league plays weekly tournaments on Wednesday mornings and has planned a full season of golf, including the Rally for the Cure tournament on July 18 to fight breast and prostate cancer and the ladies’ annual Member Guest tournament on August 8.
