Children’s reading event held at PEEC

Get ready for an early literacy event for the whole family. R.E.E.CH.E (Recognizing Excellence in Early ChildHood Education) is offering a free reading of the PA One Book entitled “Stop Snoring, Bernard!”  

The story is about a little otter who loves to nap, but his snoring is disturbing his zoomates!  What will Bernard do?

 Join them on Saturday August 11th at 10:30 a.m. at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) on Route 209 in Dingman’s Ferry for a free craft project and group read of the selected book.   

All participating families will receive a free copy of the book (while supplies last).  After the event explore the eco-zone ($5.00 fee) or take a family hike on the public trails at PEEC.  For more information about the event visit www.reeche4kids.org and for more information about the Eco Zone visit www.peec.org.
