Safe Haven of Pike County Inc. reports that the Tour de Pike County has been postponed until Sunday, October 14. The cycling event was originally announced for August 19.
The postponement has been done to accomodate some renovations of the course and to ensure the safelty and comfort of the riders.
The cycling event is for riders of all levels. Tour de Pike County begins at Milford Beach. There will be a five Mile Family Trail Ride, as well as 15, 25, and 40 mile courses for the more experienced riders.
Register early for a reduced registration fee of $30 per rider, $35 per family. Late registration will be $35 per rider. Pre-Ride “check in” will be from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., with the outing to begin at 9 a.m.
All registered riders will receive a free Tech Tee (one Tech Tee per family, please). There will be post-ride refreshments and activities. Helmets are required and parking at Milford Beach is free.
