  •  Relay For Life of the Greater Lake Region is having a Team Kick-Off Celebration meeting on Wednesday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at the Settler’s Inn in Hawley.?They are calling all cancer survivors, caregivers, and donors.?“Help your community create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Create a team, join a team, or just get involved. We are looking for volunteers,” said Paige Hochreither, event co-chairperson.?If you are not yet registered for Relay For Life, there is still plenty of time to get involved. If you are not familiar with Relay For life, it is the signature event of the American Cancer Society. It is a fun-filled, overnight event that mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and raise money to fight back against cancer.
