Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos showed off several new Kindles on Thursday. The new regular Kindle is the Kindle Paperwhite, which has a front-lit screen that is comparable with the Nook Glow Light. Also announced were several versions of the Fire tablet. The new edition of the basic Fire will now be $159 (down from $199), while an HD version will start at $199.

“Using your office we were able to gain access to your network file servers and copy over the tax documents for one Willard M Romney and Ann D Romney.” – Online statement from a group that claims to have stolen the tax records of the Romneys from PricewaterhouseCoopers in Franklin, Tenn. The group says it wants $1 million or it will release the records to the media. The Secret Service is investigating.
