On Thursday, September 20, there will be a series of six rolling road blocks on Interstate 84, east and west at Exit 30 (Blooming Grove/Porters Lake) in Pike County, PennDOT reports.
The rolling roadblocks will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. and will last for approximately 15 minutes each.
The first three rolling roadblocks will be eastbound, the final three will occur westbound so that six beams can be set on a bridge.
The state is replacing the SR 402 span over I-84, one lane at a time.
In addition to the rolling roadblocks on I-84, traffic will also be stopped on SR 402 at various times throughout the day.
Delays are expected and motorists should use an alternate route, if possible.
