After speeding along on Route 6, a Shohola man was nabbed for being under the influence of marijuana. Ryan L. Stout, 21, of Shohola, was operating a 2010 Ford Fusion on Route 6 in Blooming Grove Township. Stout was observed traveling 82 mph in a 55 mph zone, where he also passed several vehicles near the crest of a hill and did not use his turn signal, according to State Police. Tout was stopped and allegedly found to be under the influence of marijuana and also in the possession of a glass marijuana smoking pipe, metal grinder and a small amount of marijuana, Cpl. O’Donnell stated. The incident occurred May 28. The report on the filing of charges was issued Sept. 18 by State Police Blooming Grove. Charges were filed at the office of District Judge Jay Rose.
Criminal mischief
WAYMART- Kevin Hunter of Waymart, has been charged with criminal mischief and harassment. State Police Honesdale allegd that Hunter broke a door on Belmont Street and grabbed the victim, a 23-year old woman by the throat Sept. 15.
