Carnival coming to Bingham Park

HAWLEY - July 4th week is lining up with plenty of celebration and family activities in the Hawley region. In addition to the parade in Hawley and fireworks at Lake Wallenpaupack, a carnival is coming to Bingham Park, July 2- 6.

Amusement rides provided by AEB Amusements, games and food are planned. There is no charge to enter the grounds. Unlimited rides will be available for $13, with a wrist band provided.

Burglar finds residents

BERLIN TWP. - An unknown man broke into a house on Perkins Pond Road, Berlin Township, Thursday, June 6, only to find the residents still at home.

The actor got away but not without a description left behind for the residents to report to the authorities.

The American Red Cross Wayne Pike Chapter Disaster Education Team met with fifth graders at the Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School, May 29th, to talk about preparing for emergencies.

Two workshops were held, covering how to develop a family emergency preparedness plan.
