Wayne County Emergency Management urges all residents to prepare for potential long-term power outages across Wayne County (PA). Keep an eye on your neighbors, elderly or other persons who may need additional assistance.
This area is expected to receive one to three inches of rain over the next 72 hours, flash flooding in low lying areas or near streams is always a possibility.
The largest potential for concern is wind. Sustained easterly winds of 30 to 40 miles per hour with gusts up to 70 miles per hour for Northeast PA are expected. At this time, the National Weather Service predicts the storm to peak in Wayne County from 8:00 p.m. through midnight, Monday October 29, 2012.
