    The Wayne Highlands School District is offering local and neighboring communities a GED Testing Center at the Honesdale High School. Testing typically occurs each month and applicants must be Pennsylvania residents.
    Computer-based testing will be state mandated starting January 2014.
    For those who wish to retake any section of the test to acquire "Passing" status or anyone who prefers to take a paper-based test, must do so before December, 2013.
    Scores from paper-based tests will not transfer for a cumulative score once computer-based testing is in effect.
    General Educational Development (GED) will be offered during the remaining months of 2012 and during the 2013 year as follows.
    November 19 & 20, 2012 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    December, 2012 – Date will be added as necessary 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    January 7 & 8, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    February 11 & 12, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    March 11 & 12, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    April 8 & 9, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    May 6 & 7, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    June 17 & 18, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    July 8, 2013 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    August 1, 2013 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    September 9 & 10, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    October 7 & 8, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    November 4 & 5, 2013 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    December 9 & 10, 2013 (If necessary) 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    Call the Honesdale High School at (570) 253-2591 to register or for questions regarding the GED Testing Program. Honesdale High School is located at 459 Terrace Street, Honesdale.
    The following fees will be in effect January 1, 2013: Complete test - $95, one section - $30.
