Tree lighting, Santa coming Dec. 1

 The Southern Wayne Chamber of Commerce reports that the annual Christmas tree lighting in Hamlin is scheduled Saturday, December 1. Stop by and have photos taken withSanta between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Salem Township Building, Route 590 west of Hamlin Corners. Following this, at 3:30 p.m., gather for the lighting of the tree at the Pennstar Bank at Hamlin Corners (intersection of Routes 590 and 191). Between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m., enjoy refreshments, hot dogs, baked goods, hot chocolate, and holiday cheer. The event is free and open to the community.
