Rotary hosts Christmas event in Carlton Drake Park

The Rotary Club of Newfoundland plans to host their annual "Christmas in the Park" Sunday December 9th from 2 to 4 p.m.

The public is invited to come to Carlton Drake Park across from the South Elementary school in Newfoundland. Rotary will have a horse drawn wagon for rides through the park. Santa will arrive aboard a fire truck, and there will be hat and stocking decorating, hot chocolate and cookies for all.

"It is a fun community day and we invite all the public to attend," said Chris Cykosky for the Rotary Club of Newfoundland.
