World beat and global percussionist, Obi Kaye performs at Harmony Presents at 8 Silk Mill Drive on Friday, January 11th at 7:30 p.m.
For over 45 years, Obi Kaye has been working with African and Middle Eastern troupes as well as with jazz bands, integrating exotic instruments from around the world while performing locally at the Milford Music Festival, Milford’s Music in the Park, Berks Jazz Fest, Yeungling Summer Jazz Festival, Musikfest, Schuylkill’s annual Unity Day Celebration and other music and Arts festivals.
Each of Obi Kaye’s five albums received international airplay via college, NPR, internet and other radio stations that play independent music.
