MILFORD- Pike County Hands of Hope, an outreach to the homeless, hosts a monthly prayer meeting. Everyone is invited. The next one is set for Saturday, Jan. 26 from 10 to 11 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 Broad St., Milford.
Jerome A. Smith, Pike County Hands of Hope Spiritual Coordinator, said, "As we usher in the the New Year full of hope and promise, I'd like to invite you to join us for our monthly prayer hour to pray for the ministry of Pike County Hands of Hope. As we all know, prayer is at the foundation of any successful ministry. That is why we are continuing to meet together in Christ to pray together for His mission of restoration in Pike County. All are welcome to attend."
They normally meet for prayer on the last Saturday of the month at the same hour and location. An exception is in March, when they plan to meet on March 23rd (the second to the last Saturday). Smith may be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
He said in his invitation, "We hope to see you there. The Peace of the Lord be with you!"
