The dates and locations of two beer festivals that everyone should attend have been announced.

First, the Brew-Woo, the beer festival held in Worcester each year, has announced that the festival will be on March 30 at the DCU Center.

There will be two sessions – 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Jan. 26) and are $30, or $35 at the door. Click here for tickets.

I missed this festival last year, but I thought they did a really good job the first year, so if you have time, you really should check it out.

However, this next festival I’m telling you about is one that you should clear your calendar for and reserve a hotel – The Festival is returning, and this time it will be in Portland, Maine.

The Festival will be held on June 21 and June 22 at the Portland Yacht Services Buildings.

Details about ticket prices and brewers are not available yet, but I went last year and it was one of the best festivals I have ever been to. There were brewers from so many countries bringing amazing beers. The great thing was how appreciative most of them appeared to be when you told them you enjoyed the beer.

Here’s my recap of The Festival from last year.

I recommend reserving a hotel room now and making a weekend of it. Portland is one of my favorite beer cities in all of New England with great bars and great beer.

I already arranged a place to stay so I’ll be there, so maybe I’ll see some of you.
