    • A house in Covington Township, near Gouldsboro, was destroyed by fire, Thursday morning Jan. 31. No injuries were reported.
    The PA State Police Fire Marshal Office reported that the cause was ruled as "undetermined" due to the extent of the damage. No was home at time of the fire wen it was discovered at 9:14 a.m. The house was located on Bear Lake Road. It is owned by a man from Gouldsboro.
    The structure was fully involved when the fire was discovered, and collapsed into the basement.
    • The American Red Cross Wayne Pike Chapter is assisting six individuals who were displaced by a single family fire on Maria Drive, Dingmans Ferry.
    This fire occurred Monday evening, Jan. 28. Delaware Township Fire Department was called out at 8:57 p.m., along with Bushkill, Blooming Grove, Dingman Township, and additional help from Milford and Westfall Township fire departments. Two tankers were summoned from New Jersey (Montague and Sandyston).
    The Red Cross provided food, groceries, clothing, shoes, seasonal garments and prescription lens replacement for two individuals and will follow up with the family for additional services, if needed.
