HONESDALE- Joseph LoBasso, Honesdale Borough Chief of Police, announced that at approximately 1:50 p.m. On February 20, 2013, a white male entered Citizens Savings Bank on Willow Avenue, Honesdale Borough.

The suspect handed a teller a note stating that he had a gun and demanded money. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and was seen wearing a black hoodie and also wearing a knit cap and blue jeans. The suspect left on foot heading East on Grand View Avenue onto Old Willow Avenue. No one was hurt or injured during this incident.

This matter is being actively investigated by the Honesdale Borough Police Department with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police.
