    SOUTH CANAAN TWP.- SR 296 is closed in South Canaan Township at the intersection of SR 196 (Easton Turnpike) due to a vehicle crash with downed utilities. Local emergency responders are on scene and are directing traffic, PennDOT reports. Anticipated reopening is today (Wednesday, Feb. 27) at 11:00 a.m.
