Aileen E. Weiland, age 84 of Greentown, died Friday at her residence. She was the widow of Richard N. Weiland, who died in 1997.? Born in Canadenis, daughter of the late Clinton and Clara (Olsommer) Seese, she had resided in the Promised Land-Greentown area for most of her life.? Aileen owned and operated Aileen's Beauty Salon in Promised Land for many years. She was a member of the Hemlock Grove UMBc, Laurel Blossoms Senior Citizens, Founding member of the Promised Land Community Church and Promised Land Lady's Club, former member of the Promised Land Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary.? She is survived by two daughters: Carol A. (Charles) Renz, Wind Gap, and Lynne (Fred) Kaupp of Greentown. Two grandchildren, Charles and Nolan Renz and their wives. Three sisters: Jennie Tiffany of Canadensis, Clara Stearns of Greentown and Lenora Lovenberg, Kunkletown. Three brothers: Charles Heller, Dover, N.J.; Fred Heller and August Heller of Flanders, N.J.; with nieces and nephews. ? Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in the Hemlock Grove UMC, Greentown. The Rev. Earl Roberts will officiate. Memorial remembering may be made to either Wayne Co.
