The Pike County Public Library is joining the U.S. Department of State in celebrating Passport Day in the USA 2013, a national passport acceptance and outreach event. PCPL is hosting this special passport event at its Milford branch, located at 201 Broad Street, on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. Until 3 p.m. To accept passport applications and to provide passport information to U.S. Citizens.
Information on the cost and how to apply for a U.S. Passport is also available by calling the Pike County Public Library at (570)296-8211 or by visiting www.travel.state.gov. U.S. Citizens may also obtain passport information by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at 1-877-487-2778.
If you are planning to travel outside of the country, you must have valid documentation. U.S. Citizens must present a passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. Citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. Government.
