  • The Pike County Public Library is joining the U.S. Department of State in celebrating Passport Day in the USA 2013, a national passport acceptance and outreach event. PCPL is hosting this special passport event at its Milford branch, located at 201 Broad Street, on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. Until 3 p.m. To accept passport applications and to provide passport information to U.S. Citizens.
    Information on the cost and how to apply for a U.S. Passport is also available by calling the Pike County Public Library at (570)296-8211 or by visiting www.travel.state.gov. U.S. Citizens may also obtain passport information by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at 1-877-487-2778.
    If you are planning to travel outside of the country, you must have valid documentation. U.S. Citizens must present a passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. Citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. Government.
    If you wish to apply for a passport at Pike County Public Library, please be sure to bring the required documentation with you. Appointments at are not necessary on Passport Day, but may be made in advance calling 296-8211.†
