PIKE COUNTY- Pennsylvania State Police Dunmore issued a report of a "suspicious death" following discovery of a body at Shohola Falls in Pike County, Monday morning.

On Monday, March 11, at approximately 9:03 a.m., State Police at Blooming Grove were called to Shohola Falls located along State Route 6 in Shohola Township, Pike County after discovery of the body.

The deceased was identified by State Police as Gail Dews, 56 years old from Wayne, NJ whose body was located at the base of the gorge.

Anyone who was in the area of Shohola Falls between 2:30 p.m. on March 10, 2013 and 8:30 a.m. on March 11, 2013 and may have information, is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Blooming Grove at (570) 226-5718.
