Pike Autism Support Services (P.A.S.S.) will celebrate National Autism Awareness Month this April, as will thousands of other Autism Support Networks across the county by inviting people to their Annual Autism Awareness Program and Candle Light Vigil, Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m.

This will be P.A.S.S.'s 18th year of supporting Families of Children with Autism Spectrum

Disorders and other developmental disabilities in Pike County.

P.A.S.S.'s mission is to raise public, professional and governmental awareness regarding

Autism Spectrum Disorders. Autism Awareness Month is P.A.S.S.'s opportunity to bring together local government, school districts, county agencies, medical professionals, clergy and families of their Autism Community in North East PA. In order for individuals with Autism to lead fulfilling, productive and independent lives, the community must be supportive.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and Autism Poster Exhibit at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Corner of 4th and East High Streets in Milford.

This year’s theme is: "Building Acceptance." The event is not appropriate for young children but babysitting is available by making reservations through

babysitting@passnepa.org. Reservations need to be made at least three days prior to the vigil. To RSVP, send an email to vigil@passnepa.orgorP.O. Box 906, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.
