TUSTEN, NY - Authorities say they've recovered a body spotted floating in the middle of the Delaware River on the Pennsylvania-New York border, an Associated Press story in The Pocono Record states.

State police in Sullivan County, NY, said Monday that the body was found by a group of canoeists Saturday afternoon May 4th near the border of the towns of Tusten and Highland.

New York State Police, the National Park Service and local emergency crews responded. State troopers recovered the body and are investigating.

Troopers say the cause of death is pending an autopsy and toxicology results. Police say they'll use dental records to positively identify the body, the report states.
