Rosemary Theresa Schroeder Dodson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Clifford W. and Agnes Mary Mally Schroeder, who predeceased her.

A sister, Regina C. Chase, and a brother, Jack W. Schroeder, also predeceased her. She married Albert T. Dodson in 1946. He predeceased her in 1978.

Rosemary was a member of St. John?s and St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Honesdale, PA since 1982. Prior to that, she was a member of Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville, NY.

She is survived by a sister, Catherine E. Poorman, of Carmel, IN; four children: Albert Timothy Dodson Jr., of Coral Springs, FL.; Charles Paul Dodson, of Greeley, PA.; Christine Marie Dodson, of Davis, CA; and John William Dodson, of Tafton, PA; as well as seven grandchildren - "my seven gifts of the Holy Spirit" - Matthew, Michael and Elizabeth Dodson, of Greeley, PA; Mark and Emma Kate Dodson, of Beach Lake, PA.; Patrick Elliott Dodson, of Coral Springs, FL; and Jeremy Michael Dunford, of Davis, CA; and two great-grandchildren: Nikolai Anthony Dodson, of Coral Springs, FL; and Lilly Lahey, of Tafton, PA. Also, she leaves three great daughters-in-law: Connie Dodson of Coral Springs, FL, Lynne Dodson of Greeley, PA and Moira Dodson of Tafton, PA; and a wonderful son-in-law: Christopher Dunford of Davis, CA.

Rosemary spent almost 30 years as a medical assistant, first to Dr. Guus de Laive, a general practitioner in Pleasantville, NY for 19 years, and then to Dr. Hoon Yoo, an obstetrician/gynecologist in Honesdale, PA for 20 years. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters, Eucharistic Adoration Chapel and Eucharistic Minister, as well as, for 12 years, the St. John?s Choir. She also belonged to the Blue Army of Fatima, the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Marian Movement of Priests and Laity.
