    • Grief Workshop: 1:30 – 3 p.m. Wayne Memorial Hospital. A six-week workshop designed to provide education and support in coping with the grieving process. The workshop will focus on grief as a normal part of an individual's transition through life. Noting that grief is a very individual process, Petrosky said the workshop will encourage participants to explore their own solutions to the challenges of living without their loved ones and dealing with the many changes that follow a loss. Workshop CO-facilitator will be Reverend William Rushik, a hospice chaplain and the pastor of South Canaan Free Methodist Church. Participants are asked to complete a registration form, which can be found at www.wmh.org or by contacting Petrosky at 253-8608.

To qualify for the 4 (four) hour class, evidence must be provided with pre- registration or at class registration that you have previously taken one of the classes within the last thirty-six months (3 years). Such evidence could be a copy of your Course Completion Certificate from the previous course or a copy of your auto insurance policy that indicates you are currently receiving a discount for Defensive Driving. Remember to bring your drivers' license and a pen to class. Dr. Comerford will discuss ways to successfully harvest forages from pastures, identify some of the important economic advantages to the beef producer, discuss and compare "wrapped" baleage forage versus dry harvested forages. Dave Hartman, will lead the "Pasture Walk" identifying different pasture grass species and their growth and development, discuss fertilization of pastures, pasture renovation practices to enhance pasture forage production and will use available technology to measure the amount of dry matter available per acre for beef cattle harvest/consumption.     • Grief Workshop: 1:30 – 3 p.m. Wayne Memorial Hospital. A six-week workshop designed to provide education and support in coping with the grieving process. The workshop will focus on grief as a normal part of an individual's transition through life. Noting that grief is a very individual process, Petrosky said the workshop will encourage participants to explore their own solutions to the challenges of living without their loved ones and dealing with the many changes that follow a loss. Workshop CO-facilitator will be Reverend William Rushik, a hospice chaplain and the pastor of South Canaan Free Methodist Church.
