HONESDALE - At 2 p.m. every Sunday, the Wayne County Historical Society (WCHS) located at 810 Main Street in Honesdale presents a topic to the public. The presentations are free and open to all.

This Sunday, July 14th, WCHS Board member Judy Poltanis will present an Introduction to Oral History. So much of our history has been handed down orally from generation to generation. Unfortunately, it is is becoming a lost art form. Judy's presentation is a great way for families to reconnect as they disconnect from electronics for an hour and learn how to share their history through storytelling on a Sunday afternoon.

Next Sunday at the Museum: Linus Myers on July 21st will speak about Jeremiah Gunn, Honesdale's "Unknown Gettysburg Hero." The Wayne County Arts Alliance will provide artistic insight with an exclusive studio tour on July 28th.
