  • Greater Pike Community Foundation (GPCF) President Jim Pedranti presented the foundation's first $1,000 gift from the Litzenberger Family Foundation to Shohola Township's Rohman Park. Representatives for Rohman Park, the only municipal park in Shohola Township, welcomed the gift.
Pleased to be the foundation's first grant recipient, a Shohola Park and Recreation Committee member Jenni Hamill said the Shohola Park and Recreation Committee will use the grant for park improvements that include the construction of a new pavilion and additional playground equipment that will be installed this summer.
Hamill said the park, "represents a feeling of community spirit and our area's history of recreation and stewardship of natural resources." All of Pike County, she said, are invited to visit the park.
