Rosemary Theresa Pauliks, 71, of Tafton, PA, formerly of Jamaica, New York, passed away on August 10, 2013.
Born January 27, 1942 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Winnerl) Sporrer. Rosemary is survived by son, Christopher Pauliksand fiancée Kathleen Morgan, Swedesboro, NJ; daughter, Christel Pauliks of Yardley PA; daughter, Cheryl Pauliks Attinger and husband, Timothy of Harrisburg, PA; son, Peter Pauliks of Maspeth, NY; and son, Werner Pauliksand wife, Erika of Sunnyside, NY. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Christopher, Cooper, Cole, Greta, Chase and Emory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Erich George Pauliks.
Rosemary and her husband owned and operated Pauliks Bake Shop which served the Hawley community for over 25 years. She was active in numerous civic organizations throughout her life. A graduate of Marywood University, she transitioned to a career in telecommunications and retired in 2009. The years after her retirement were spent vacationing with her children and enjoying her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 in the Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village, NY 11379, with a memorial service will at 10:45 a.m. Burial will be at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY with reception following.
