The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department in conjunction with the New Jersey State Police execute a search warrant leading to the arrest of a Matamoras resident.
The Department filed a criminal complaint charging Matthew Hoffman, 30, of Matamoras with Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Marijuana after executing a search warrant on his residence on Tuesday, August 27.
The Eastern Pike Regional Police was contacted by the New Jersey State Police who had arrested a male in conjunction with a burglary in Sussex County. Information received by the Department led to a search warrant being executed at 702 Avenue M in Matamoras Borough. Among items recovered during the search were a stolen Suzuki ATV and tools from robberies originating in Sussex County, NJ.
Hoffman was remanded to Pike County Correctional facility on $75,000.00 bail.
