  • The Wayne Choralaires is seeking singers for Christmas concerts. Under the direction of Patricia Spoor, the concerts titled “A Christmas Tapestry” and will include a wide range of sacred and popular songs. Among the selections will be “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “How Lovely Is Your Dwelling Place,” “Home for the Holidays,” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

        The Choralaires have been entertaining local audiences for over 40 years, and their Christmas concerts are a cherished Wayne County tradition. For those who love to sing, they are welcome to join and sing with the Choralaires.
        If unable to ready music, that is okay. There will also be a number of solo opportunities.
    Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings beginning September 4 from 8:30 to 10 p.m. in the Wesley Room of the Central United Methodist Church in Honesdale. Concerts will be Sunday afternoon and evening, December 1, in Honesdale; Thursday evening, December 5 in Carbondale; and Sunday afternoon  December 8, in Hawley.
