September is National Preparedness Month and each year, nearly 5 million people learn how to prepare themselves, their households and their businesses for emergencies. The most efficient way to prepare for any emergency situation is to be "Red Cross Ready." The American Red Cross Wayne Pike Chapter is offering a variety of courses where people can find out how to be prepared and save lives. Adult CPR/AED - 10/7/13 Monday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Classroom Wallenpaupack Middle School Adult First Aid/CPR/AED - 10/7/13 Monday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday 6 – 8:30 p.m. Classroom Wallenpaupack Middle School Pediatric CPR/AED - 10/16/13 Wednesday 5 p.m. – 9:45p.m. Classroom Wallenpaupack Middle School. By making a donation to support American Red Cross Disaster Relief, people can help others who are affected by disasters like floods, fires, tornadoes and hurricanes as well as crises at home and around the world.
