PIKE COUNTY - Tom Wolf, a Democratic Candidate for PA Governor, is the keynote speaker for The Pike County Democratic Committee Annual Dinner-Dance to be held on Saturday, October 5th at the Bushkill Inn and Conference Center.

In addition, Brad Koplinski, a Democratic Candidate for Lt. Governor and Jim Burn, Chair of the PA Democratic Party will be special guest speakers. "We are honored that one of Pennsylvania’s best will be presenting the keynote at our dinner. Dr. Wolf, has served PA in the private and public sectors and excelled in both," said Bruce Taylor, Chair of the PCDC, "In addition, Mr. Koplinski represents Harrisburg as a City Councilman and has served the US Justice Department and the Department of the Auditor General in the Commonwealth. This will be a great opportunity for all of Pike County to come and meet these gentlemen on an up close and personal, one-to-one basis, ask their questions and get to know them. " Jim Burn, Chair of the PA Democratic Party, will be on hand during the cocktail portion of the event.

In addition to dancing and food, an additional feature of this evening will be a Silent Auction organized by Denise Wagner, wife of Commissioner Karl Wagner and herself, a Councilwoman for Milford Borough.

This year’s Annual Dinner Dance is dedicated to "Young Democrats". The Vivian Louise Anderson Glenn Foundation has awarded the PCDC a grant to fund a "Young Democrats Table" at this year’s Dinner-Dance. "They are the future of our party and we must show our support of them and pride in them for standing up for Democratic ideals", said Event Chair Cheryl Glenn.
